A tale of love, death, music, software, wiring diagrams, teleportation,
ancient passions, future technologies and spacemanship, in which Innocence
Triumphs Over Evil and lots of things go
in a generally alarming manner.
I wrote this novel many years ago, and completely failed to get it published. Since then I've written another and may one day get around to bringing this one up to scratch. To avoid search engine problems I've therefore pulled this one. Please e-mail me if you want to read it.
This novel is in the form known as a Space Opera, which is a Ripping Yarn with faster than light drives. I wrote it for its entertainment value only. If you are looking for deep, significant, meanings, look elsewhere. If you simply want to enjoy the ride, fasten your seat harness and prepare to be blasted across the light years.
The date is some time around 2850, the action takes place on the planets of several stars so distant that they are not visible from earth without a telescope.
The future technologies are (I hope) consistent, in that they don't violate any laws of physics that I am aware of. I have of course employed all the usual dodges to get around the speed of light, and ground to space transportation.
Finally, this material is copyrighted. If you want to copy it to your local hard drive and read it at leisure, go ahead. If you want to make any other use of it, e-mail me at the address under the spacefleet insignia, if you want to offer me a huge advance for the movie rights, call me at one of the phone numbers elswhere on this site.
