Robert Billing

I am Bob Billing, and this is my page. I am:

I am married to Kathy, and I own Patrick, although I sometimes wonder if he really owns me. I also have a furry friend called Fellah. I like good food, good wine, 60s music, science fiction and bad jokes. I have written one novel,  "A Cross of Stars", which I have finally given up trying to get published, and converted to HTML, you may read it at your own risk, and any number of short stories.

I belong to the old guard of programmers who design things before they start coding, and then comment the code so that someone else has a chance of understanding it. I prefer "Allman" or "Cambridge" layout.

 for ( Bear = Baby_Bear; Bear <= Father_Bear; Bear++ )
 {
   printf ( "Bear %d said, \"Someone's been eating my porridge\"\n", Bear ) ;
   if ( None_Left [ Bear ] )
     printf ( "\"and they've eaten it all up\"\n" ) ;
 }

I would also describe myself as a christian of no fixed denomination, although I am currently a member of a baptist church. I believe that Jesus is the risen and living son of God, and the only way to God. If you want to discuss my views, please join me on the relevant newsgroup.
